Mr. Liu Yaoming, President of the Bioenergy Branch of the China Private Science and Technology Promotion Association, gave an in-depth interpretation of the current situation and future development of China's UCO industry market. He said that in recent years, EU countries have been the main destination countries for China's UCO exports, accounting for 61% of China's total exports since data was available. He also said that in the next few years, with the increase in renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel production capacity in the US and EU markets, it will attract a large number of waste raw materials and continue to promote the development of raw materials.

Robert Earley, Technical Manager of SCS Global RSB, gave a detailed introduction to RSB certification, including its background, development status and future prospects, as well as the basic process, principles and standard technical requirements of RSB RSB certification. The future outlook for RSB includes certification of renewable hydrogen in addition to certification of renewable liquid and gaseous fuels of biological origin.
In view of the latest requirements of ISCC, Ms. He Chaorui, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Lvlin Certification Co., Ltd., gave a detailed interpretation at the meeting, including the distinction between the high-risk levels of the collection enterprises, what direct changes will occur after upgrading to the high-risk level, and the matters that enterprises need to pay attention to in the process of using certificates.
Ms. Qiuxia Dun, ISCC Project Manager of Beijing Lvlin Certification Co., Ltd., gave a detailed explanation on the requirements for non-biotic refuels (RFBNOs). The EU Renewable Energy Directive RED II: Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001 added provisions for non-biomass derived renewable fuels (RNFBOs) and recycled carbon fuels (RCFs) and set targets for renewable energy use by 2030. Renewable liquid and gaseous transport fuels of non-biological origin (RNFBOs) refer to liquid or gaseous fuels used in the transport sector other than biofuels or biogas, whose energy is derived from renewable resources other than biomass. Renewable carbon fuels (RCF) refer to liquid and gaseous fuels that are not suitable for material recovery produced from liquid or solid waste streams of non-renewable sources in accordance with Article 2008 of Directive 98/4/EC, or waste treatment gases and exhaust gases from non-renewable sources that are unavoidable and unintentionally generated during the production of industrial installations. Ms. Qiuxia gave a detailed introduction to the scope of certification, traceability requirements, chain of custody requirements, GHG calculation, materials to be prepared and the certification process.
